If you are NOT already waiver-approved, obtaining our services can take up to three (3) months or longer. During this process, various forms have to be completed by the applicant and their physician. The applicant will be interviewed three (3) times to verify eligibility, and five (5) years’ worth of bank statements must be submitted to verify income requirements. If these statements aren’t available, we will work with you to obtain acceptable documentation. Meals Direct staff will walk through this process with the applicant, FREE of charge, to assist them in becoming eligible for our services.
